I dreamt this up on a rainy day.

Actually, I don't remember if it was raining or not.  I do remember being in the middle of one of my streampunk funks and somehow deciding that it would be a great idea to take all of the significant people in my life and transforming them into steampunk characters in a steampunk universe.

Yeah, that's basically it.

In other words this site is a purely emotional, imaginative, and creative binge. I can't promise continuity or structure or rationality.  I'll be developing the world and characters as they come to me, and I might post a couple of interesting steampunk articles as I come across them.

But it is mostly just an exercise in OCD and silliness.

This site automatically opens up on the Blog page, where you will find the most recent updates on my progress and whatever steampunk stuff I think is interesting and you should know about.

As of right now, I am not writing a "story" or novel for this idea (if anything, I'm starting to think it should be a graphic novel, but that's a LONG way down the road). While it does involve a lot of writing, my focus is the visual story and the characters I'm creating.  But, just to be confusing, there really is a story, and you can find whatever there is that exists of it on the The Story so Far page.  It's mostly a summery/outline, a reference point for some of the things I will be illustrating.
